$2.681M funding Towards Excellence in Return to Work/Disability Management Professionalization

On Friday, August 13 2021,the Hon. Carla Qualtrough, Federal Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion, announced funding of up to $2.681M over 3 years for our project:

“Towards Excellence in Return to Work/Disability Management Professionalization”.

The core components mirror our recently announced BC government WDA grant, providing critical Disability Management education, professionalisation and program support for workplaces.

This federal funding makes it possible to extend these opportunities from Coast to Coast to Coast and aligns with the current RTW/DM strategies by the Federal governments of Scotland, Belgium, Malaysia and others.

Funding for NIDMAR was one of 10 project investments announced by Minister Qualtrough through the Sectoral Initiatives Program designed to remove barriers and improve employer resources to develop strategies to attract and retain skilled workers.
